The Attorney Realtor Hub held its 1st Property Buyer Information Session in Khayelitsha on 20 October. The 2nd workshop will be held on the 17th of November and will be focusing on the increased subsidies for 1st time home buyers (FLISP) and the Rent2Buy concept (R2B).

If you are a 1st time home buyer, or if you have employees, friends or family members who fall in the income bracket of R3501,00 to R22 000,00 per month, a FLISP subsidy might be available for you and them.

FLISP info in a nutshell:

As from 28th July 2018, 1st time home buyers that earn up to R22 000 per month can now benefit from the new FLISP (Finance Linked Individual Subsidy Programme) subsidy increase.
Who qualifies?

FLISP SUBSIDIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR:

    1. First time home buyer/s;
    2. Who earns between R3 501 – R22 000 per month;
    3. Who qualifies for a home loan with a Bank (for the whole or part of the purchase price);
    4. Who is a South African citizen;
    5. Who is married, or co-habiting, or single with a dependent.
