Gabon is not at the top of many people’s list as an ideal holiday destination, but if you’re a nature lover it is well worth exploring as an option. For those of you who don’t know, Gabon is also known as Africa’s Last Eden because approximately 70% of its surface area is covered by wild and untamed forests with multiple large rivers cris crossing the country. This, combined with a very small population, ensures that the country remains largely unexplored by tourists.

Personally, I cannot imagine why somebody would want to go and live on a beach next to a river mouth for two weeks at a time while living off a diet of fish and rice, but MC doesn’t miss a year.
